anyone else hate thomas? seriously, he's kinda a jerk. always lying to the other engines and playing tricks where people (um, trains) actually end up getting hurt. we might start to phase out this show at our house.

posing between episodes of thomas
jakey and the big snow
i finally found the downloader cordo thingy. these are from the giant snowstorm that dumped three inches on us, immobilizing our entire little city.
and don't judge my baby because his mother left his hat in the car and his dad took it to work with him so he has to wear his skivvies in leiu of something acceptable. my brother and i were wearing underwear on our head long into our grammer school experience, all with minimal scarring.
kat kat came thru with a real hat by the end of the day.

lack of posting

I can't get the camera near Jake without a grabby screamy meltdown, so here are some dark pictures of him biting his nails while watching a particularly stressful episode of Thomas. It's the one where the sheep are having babies ("lambing", apparently) but there is a freak snowstorm and the vet can't get there to help.

outing
What's cuter than cute?
Bulletholes in the slide

What's even more adorable?
Your boy sticking his fingers in them.

Still works.

Oh, stop judging. It's not like it happened in broad daylight. I think. They've been there forever.
Plus, this is a rich neighborhood. Houses go from a quarter to a half million dollars in these parts.
And that means people can't afford guns anymore.

Jake just learned the concept of throwing coins in the fountain. Now he begs "Mommy, maka wish PLEASE" every time he sees a fountain or a puddle. He tosses his coin in and says "I buy a wish!".
Because I'm a good mom, I just dug all my pennies out of my desk and put them in an old Rx bottle that I'll put in Jake's bag.
