Jake and I went to the Philadelphia Art Museum yesterday.  Until about a week ago, he hated to draw.  HATED.  He likes to scribble ("that's how I get my feelings out") but someone at school told him he was too old to scribble.  So, we went to the museum in search of scribble art.  And boy howdy, you'll find a lot of the sort of art you can stand in front of and say "my kid could do that" in an art museum. 
And my kid can.

We spent lots of time in the medieval armor and weapons rooms and tons of time in the Asian art wing.  The boy is obsessed.  I think it probably has something to do with ninjas.
